# Terms of Service / Terms & Conditions
Real Estate Investors Expo

### 1. Acceptance of Terms
By purchasing a ticket, registering, or attending any Real Estate Investors Expo event (the “Event”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not purchase a ticket or attend the Event.
### 2. Organizer

### 3. Tickets & Admission (updated — now includes Super VIP)
- Tickets are available as General Admission, Expo Pass, VIP, and Super VIP.
- All tickets are issued electronically.
- You must present valid ID matching the ticket name for entry.
- Tickets are non-transferable without our prior written approval.
### 4. Refund Policy
- Full refunds are available only if requested via email to [email protected] at least 30 days before the specific Event date.
- Refund requests made within 30 days of the Event are not eligible for any refund.
- To request a refund, you must email [email protected] with your full name, order number, Event date, and reason for the request.
- We will respond and, if approved, process your refund within 5 business days of receiving your email.
- All tickets are otherwise non-refundable and non-transferable.
### 5. Chargeback & Dispute Rules
You agree to contact us first at [email protected] and give us 5 full business days to resolve any billing or refund issue before initiating a chargeback or dispute with your bank or payment provider.
If you file a chargeback before allowing us these 5 business days, or after we have already issued a refund, we reserve the right to:
- Contest the chargeback with proof of this agreement and our response
- Cancel your ticket and any future registrations
- Permanently ban you from all future Real Estate Investors Expo events
Chargebacks filed in violation of this policy may also make you responsible for any fees we incur (typically $15–$100 per chargeback).
### 6. Event Changes, Postponement, or Cancellation
We reserve the right to postpone, reschedule, or cancel the Event for any reason (including force majeure). In case of cancellation, we will offer either (a) a full refund or (b) automatic transfer to a future Event of equal or greater value. No further liability shall apply.
### 7. Age Restriction
Attendees must be at least 18 years old on the day of the Event. Anyone under 18 will be refused entry without refund.
### 8. Photo & Video Release
By attending the Event, you irrevocably grant Real Estate Investors Expo permission to photograph, film, or record you and to use your name, likeness, voice, and biographical material in any media worldwide for marketing, advertising, or promotional purposes without further compensation or notice.
If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please notify an Event organizer on-site or avoid designated photo/video areas.
### 9. Content Disclaimer
All content, presentations, and materials at the Event are for general informational and entertainment purposes only. Speakers’, sponsors’, and exhibitors’ opinions are their own and do not represent the Event organizers.
Nothing presented constitutes legal, tax, investment, financial, or professional advice. You are solely responsible for any decisions or actions you take. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from reliance on Event content.
### 10. No Investment or Real Estate Sales
The Event provides education and networking opportunities only. We do not offer, sell, or facilitate the sale or rental of real estate, financing, credit repair, or investment products.
### 11. Attendee Conduct
You agree to behave professionally and respectfully. Prohibited behavior includes (but is not limited to):
- Harassment, discrimination, or threats toward any person
- Solicitation or selling on the expo floor (except by authorized exhibitors)
- Bringing outside food or alcohol
- Bringing weapons or illegal substances
- Disruptive, intoxicated, or unsafe behavior
We may remove you from the Event without refund for violating these rules.
### 12. Safety & Security
We reserve the right to inspect bags and personal items upon entry or during the Event. Refusal to allow inspection may result in denial of entry or removal. In such cases, a full refund will be issued only if the refusal occurs at entry.
### 13. Limitation of Liability & Lawsuit Cap (completely rewritten + stronger)
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
- Your attendance is entirely at your own risk.
- We are not liable for any injury, illness, theft, loss, damage, food allergies, travel issues, or any other harm connected to the Event.
- In any lawsuit, arbitration, or legal claim you bring against Real Estate Investors Expo, its owners, staff, venue, sponsors, or affiliates — for any reason whatsoever — our total liability shall never exceed the amount you actually paid for your ticket.
- You forever waive any right to punitive, consequential, indirect, or special damages.
### 14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Real Estate Investors Expo, its owners, staff, volunteers, venue, and partners from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your conduct or violation of these Terms.
### 15. Intellectual Property
All Event materials (slides, recordings, handouts, etc.) are protected by copyright and may not be recorded, reproduced, or distributed without written permission.
### 16. Recordings of Sessions
Certain sessions may be recorded by us and distributed free of charge to attendees or used for marketing. By attending, you consent to such recording and use.
### 17. Governing Law, Venue & Mandatory Pre-Suit Mediation (updated + new mediation clause)
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey (without regard to conflict of laws principles).
Before either party may file a lawsuit in court, the dispute must first go to mediation with a neutral mediator located in Middlesex County, New Jersey.
The mediation will be scheduled within 45 days of a written request. Each party will split the mediator’s fee equally.
If mediation fails, any lawsuit must be filed exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Middlesex County, New Jersey.
### 18. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.
### 19. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. The version posted on our website at the time of your ticket purchase applies.
